Diving Deeper into iRest Meditation

This one day workshop will dive deeper into the 10 stages of iRest Yoga Nidra. If you have taken an iRest series or class before this program is for you. Over the course of this workshop we will discover ways to deepen your practice, raise your awareness and implement the tools of iRest into daily living.
By practicing iRest regularly – a little and often – you can tap into the parts of your brain that allow for greater insight and quiet the parts of the brain that are responsible for negative thoughts, feelings, and sensations. Using iRest, people learn to welcome life as it is happening and to respond – not react – to challenging situations.
iRest can work to alleviate stress, help us sleep better, and heal unresolved issues and traumas. It can also allow us recognize an underlying peace of mind that is always present within us – no matter what circumstances we are facing in life.

Workshop Details

Objectives: This workshop is designed with an open agenda creating lots of space to address questions and challenges you may be encountering with your personal iRest practice.   Come ready to share experiences and gain insight on how to deepen your practice using iRest as a tool to navigate life.
Meditation programs, like iRest, are shown to bring about deep relaxation while also producing healthy changes in the structure of your brain, stimulating healing and tissue repairs, and providing self-care skills for changing negative emotions and thoughts into positive ones (Miller 2006). In practical terms, iRest is a meditative practice that enables you to heal memories, emotions and beliefs. iRest provides you with the self-care tools you need to navigate your daily life and restore your inner sense of ease and well-being.

Workshop class size is limited to only 8 participants.
