“I believe that every muscle responds to a different pressure. As a massage practitioner I notice the way a body will respond to varying pressures and my goal is to hone in on the one that works for you. Some pain is associated with massage but it should never be excruciating. Everyone’s pain tolerance is different so I need you as the patient/client to tell me when it feels like too much or not enough. I do pick up on cues the body gives me but it is not always apparent. Ultimately my goal is to provide you with the best experience possible. Whether you like a heavy hand or a lighter touch it’s your massage and you should enjoy it.” -Erin Russell LMP
Erin also does Reiki. Not quite ready for massage? Reiki is a gentle fully clothed type of therapy, the practitioner doing the reiki acts as a conduit for positive energy flowing through their hands into your body. It is a mostly silent treatment and may include some stones being placed on the body or aromatherapy. For more information please refer to the description under “other services” or feel free to ask.
